One of my favourite sets ever – from London Lindy Exchange 2009

This was one of my favourite sets ever. It was the closing set on the Sunday night of LLX 2009 and I totally felt the connection with the crowd. I managed to move through several changes in style and texture, while keeping it locked in the pocket. The floor was packed and rocking, even when I shifted into quite full-on groove with the Jimmy McGriff number. This is the sort of thing I hope for every time I DJ.
